Accounting Intern | KerberRose

This is an internship at KerberRose, located in Green Bay, WI. This role provides hands-on accounting experience, supporting key internal finance operations, and offering a foundational opportunity to build practical skills within a collaborative professional services environment. The internship allows for training and onboarding in Fall 2026, with increased workload and learning opportunities during the busy tax season months.

• Mission: To support key internal accounting and finance processes and maintain accurate financial information for the firm.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Assist with client invoicing: Review monthly client billing and post invoices, ensuring adherence to process updates.
• Support journal entry preparation: Prepare and post monthly journal entries, including related data entry.
• Manage credit card processes: Reconcile weekly credit card statements and assist with firm credit card setup or termination.
• Maintain client records: Process new client forms following firm procedures to ensure accurate information in Practice CS.
• Update accounts receivable: Enter bank deposits into the system to keep the accounts receivable ledger current.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting at a four-year college or university. This is an Entry-Level role focused on developing practical accounting skills.
• Experience: Interest in gaining real-world accounting experience within a professional services environment.
• Skills:
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
• Self-motivation with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage responsibilities effectively during higher-volume periods, including tax season.
