What You’ll Actually Do
• Terminology Comprehension: Grasp scheduling and cost terminology fundamental to project controls.
• Data Application: Apply Work Breakdown and Project Coding Structures principles to ensure accurate and consistent data entry into the Project Controls System.
• Procedure Implementation: Execute established procedures for a project scheduling and cost program.
• Reporting: Collect necessary data, input updates, and produce basic cost and scheduling management reports.
• Data Integrity: Ensure efficiency and accuracy in generating and gathering data, and maintain orderly records to preserve system integrity.

The Must-Haves
• Background: An accredited Master’s Degree in Construction Management, or a global equivalent, is required, positioning this as an entry-level professional role within the company.
• Experience: No previous years of work-related experience are required to be considered for this position.
• Skills: The ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences including management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors is essential. Candidates must possess the job-related technical knowledge necessary to perform the role’s duties, demonstrate a strong ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines, and exhibit a keen ability to attend to detail while working in a time-conscious and time-effective manner. Strong personal computer skills and proficiency in automated cost/schedule management systems are also important for success in this role.
• Bonus: A previous Fluor internship is a preferred qualification, and the role may require international travel for project assignments and business-related matters.
