What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage incoming financial correspondence: Open, sort, scan, and distribute accounting mail, invoices, payments, and other financial documents.
• Respond to routine accounting inquiries: Monitor and respond to questions received via Accounting email inboxes, escalating issues as needed.
• Maintain accurate accounting records: Assist with data entry and maintenance of financial records within company systems.
• Support core accounting processes: Help with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, expense reports, and reimbursement requests.
• Verify financial documents: Check account balances, invoices, and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field preferred; this is an early-career role for recent graduates or those completing their final year of study, with a foundational understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles.
• Experience: Previous accounting internship, bookkeeping, or administrative experience supporting finance functions is preferred.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management abilities, strong verbal and written communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Bonus: Experience using QuickBooks or other accounting software, a customer service-oriented mindset, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
