Management Trainee | Enterprise

This is a full-time, early career role at Enterprise, located in Plymouth, MI, offering immediate hiring into its respected Management Training Program. Enterprise Mobility is a global leader in providing mobility solutions, operating well-known brands such as Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo Rent A Car, and managing a diverse fleet of 2.4 million vehicles across more than 9,500 locations in over 90 countries. As a Management Trainee, you will learn the core business operations from day one, serving as both the face of the company to customers and partners and an operational expert. What You’ll Actually Do
• Learn Core Business Operations: Start by mastering the company’s business from day one, gaining comprehensive knowledge and skills while based at a neighborhood branch.
• Customer and Partner Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for Enterprise, serving both customers and partners while skillfully managing behind-the-scenes operational duties.
• Drive Business Growth: Actively engage with the community to establish vital relationships and strategically build your own business, contributing to overall growth.
• Develop Key Business Skills: Receive targeted guidance and support to excel across critical areas including customer service, sales and marketing, finance, and operations.
• Prepare for Leadership: Participate in a structured program designed to equip you with the expertise needed to eventually manage your own branch and develop a successful team.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level position, requiring a Bachelor’s degree or being within one semester of graduating with a Bachelor’s degree. Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
• Experience: Minimum of one year of experience (within the last five years) in one of the following areas: commission-based sales, sales with set goals/bonus potential, customer service in a sales industry (e.g., retail, restaurant, hospitality), participation as a professional, semi-professional, or collegiate athlete, or a leadership role in military, clubs, or organizations.
• Skills: Strong customer service orientation, aptitude for sales and marketing, foundational understanding of finance and operations principles (as learned in the program), ability to cultivate business relationships, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record (no more than two moving violations/at-fault accidents in 3 years; no drug or alcohol-related convictions in 5 years).
