The Tone:
This is a hybrid, full-time leadership development role at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc., with initial placement in New Britain, CT or Towson, MD. What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Leadership: Plan, manage, and deliver on assigned finance projects.
• Solution Implementation: Ensure developed functionalities comply with established business requirements and methodologies.
• Process Optimization: Lead key Finance and Accounting projects to streamline operations and increase working capital turns.
• Performance Reporting: Gather and report necessary Key Performance Indicator (KPI) metrics globally.
• Executive Communication: Present project deliverables to the Executive Team biannually.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related Business Field; 0-3 years of professional work experience, including internships.
• Experience: Prior internships in Corporate Finance, Accounting, or Data Analytics; willingness to rotate work assignments, projects, and teams every 6-12 months throughout the program, including relocation for a minimum of one rotation; willingness to travel up to 25%, domestically and internationally.
• Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the business; proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and other applications in the Microsoft Office Suite.
