• Mission: This role supports financial accuracy and compliance by managing cost accounting activities and collaborating on operational performance and cost reduction initiatives.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Close Management: Oversee monthly and quarterly financial close processes, including P&L and balance sheet actuals, inventory valuation, and ensure full compliance with internal controls, company policies, and GAAP.
• Pricing Ownership: Manage all OTC and AIP pricing activities, which includes setting up new materials, executing the quarterly pricing cycle, and performing impact analysis.
• Contract Support: Provide essential accounting support for various contract requirements, such as licensing, cost tracking, non-recurring engineering (NRE) reimbursement, royalty implications, and inventory tracking.
• Balance Sheet Adjustments: Independently assess the necessity and appropriateness of balance sheet adjustments, including inventory reserves, expense accruals, prepaids, and capital accruals.
• Process Improvement & Collaboration: Collaborate with the finance and management teams on operational performance reviews, financial actuals reviews, cost reduction activities, and consistently pursue process improvements like automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related business discipline.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of work-related experience is required, specifically for experienced talent who have taken a continuous career break of at least 2 years and intend to return to a full-time role.
• Skills: In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, including GAAP and managerial cost accounting; strong organizational, strategic, and critical thinking abilities; advanced time management and prioritization skills; strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills; demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; ability to take initiative and drive for results.
• Bonus: Proficiency in SAP, Excel, BPC, and Business Objects; a fundamental understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes; strong understanding of internal control principles and accounting policies and procedures; ability to influence and collaborate effectively across broad levels of management and functions; demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships and work effectively in teams within an interrupt-driven and rapidly changing environment.
