What You’ll Actually Do
• Direct: Provide strategic direction and direct the comprehensive operations of assigned hospital-based service departments to achieve organizational, operational, quality, and patient experience goals, while establishing departmental priorities and operational standards.
• Manage: Oversee and direct departmental operating and capital budgets, ensuring responsible fiscal management, optimal resource utilization, and analyzing performance metrics to identify and implement opportunities for improvement.
• Lead: Spearhead the implementation of projects that enhance efficiency, productivity, and service delivery across assigned areas, driving operational decisions through data-driven analysis and fostering continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate: Partner extensively with clinical and operational leaders across multidisciplinary teams to standardize workflows, optimize processes, and improve patient outcomes, building strong relationships across the organization to facilitate effective communication and change management.
• Ensure: Guarantee full compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards, while serving as the primary liaison between assigned departments and executive leadership to align operational efforts with strategic objectives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or a related field required for this Director-level role.
• Experience: Seven years of progressively responsible healthcare operational experience, including a minimum of three years in a management position.
• Skills: Operational performance analysis, fiscal management, strategic initiative implementation, workflow optimization, and regulatory and accreditation compliance.
• Bonus: Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA), Business Administration (MBA), or a related field.
