Staff Accountant, eGaming | Arrow International, Inc.

The Tone:

This Staff Accountant position is crucial for the eGaming business unit, ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting ongoing process improvement within a growing company. What You’ll Actually Do
• Record business transactions: Prepare and post monthly journal entries to ensure the accurate recording of all eGaming business transactions.
• Perform account reconciliations: Prepare monthly general ledger account reconciliations using OneStream or other company tools, ensuring comprehensive support and documentation justify all account balances.
• Manage inventory schedules: Own the eGaming equipment Capital-In-Progress (CIP) inventory schedules, supporting balance sheet and cash flow activity by partnering with Inventory Management, Procurement, and Cost Accounting to resolve inconsistencies and ensure accurate transactional activity.
• Oversee fixed assets: Maintain comprehensive eGaming fixed asset records, including communicating monthly additions, retirements, and other related updates.
• Analyze financial reports: Prepare and analyze detailed financial reports to provide critical visibility and support decision-making for the eGaming business unit, engaging with various organizational levels to understand operations and identify improvement opportunities.

The Must-Haves
• Background: An undergraduate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is required for this early career position.
• Experience: At least one year of professional experience in accounting, finance, audit, or a related business field is required.
• Skills: Working proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting; strong attention to detail and accountability for work produced; excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration; ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and effectively communicate progress or concerns.
• Bonus: Experience with OneStream, SAP, Salesforce.com, or Tableau; prior exposure to month-end close, account reconciliations, fixed assets, inventory accounting, intercompany accounting, or audit support; experience in public accounting, gaming, banking, regulated industries, or manufacturing environments.
