This is a full-time Staff Accountant role at Darling Ingredients, located at its Corporate Offices. Darling Ingredients is a global leader in repurposing and recycling materials from the animal agriculture and food industries, transforming them into essential ingredients that support various sectors from animal feed to sustainable fuel. This role is crucial for maintaining the financial integrity and operational efficiency of the corporate accounting functions, supporting a company dedicated to a more circular economy and making entire industries less wasteful.

• Mission: The Staff Accountant will ensure accurate financial records by managing general ledger closing, inventory, and raw material billing.
• Tech Stack: Excel, Oracle (desired)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage: General Ledger closing processes.
• Execute: Raw Material Billing Functions accurately.
• Oversee: Raw Material pricing, including formula pricing on supplier contracts.
• Conduct: Inventory reconciliation and comprehensive analysis.
• Support: Internal and external audit processes effectively.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience: 2 years of industry accounting experience OR a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Skills: Proficiency in Excel, good communication skills (oral and written), detail-oriented, well-organized, ability to multi-task, and good math skills.
• Bonus: Experience with Oracle accounting system.
