What You’ll Actually Do
• Monthly Close Management: Facilitate and complete all necessary procedures for the monthly financial close, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for organizational reporting.
• Financial Data Processing: Assist with the preparation of journal entries related to general ledger activity, performing essential research, data entry, and recording to maintain comprehensive and accurate financial records.
• Account Reconciliation & Verification: Prepare detailed monthly balance sheet reconciliations and meticulously review vendor invoices, verifying information accuracy, identifying and correcting errors, and communicating outcomes to relevant stakeholders.
• Performance Analysis & Reporting: Analyze the financial performance and profitability of various customers, relaying these critical results to management, and prepare a range of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Audit & Departmental Support: Provide vital assistance during external financial and tax audits as needed, and offer support to ancillary departments such as accounts payable, billing, collections, and payroll, enhancing overall departmental efficiency.
