What You’ll Actually Do
• Accounting Operations: Support AP/AR processing and general ledger activities.
• Financial Close: Assist with month-end close, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Cost & Inventory Management: Help maintain accurate cost and inventory data and support variance analysis.
• Audit & Compliance: Prepare documentation, schedules, and materials for audit support.
• Cross-Functional Reporting: Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate financial reporting across departments.
The Must-Haves
• Background: This position is designed for an entry-level professional. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field, or be actively pursuing its completion. A basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is required.
• Experience: Requires prior internship or early professional experience within an accounting or finance function.
• Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel is essential, along with meticulous attention to detail for ensuring accuracy in all financial processes.
