Pricing Analyst | Greenberg Traurig, LLP

The TL;DR

• Team: Member of the firm’s Pricing team
• Mission: Prepare financial proposals, analyze historical rate and fee data, and track new client agreements to support the firm’s pricing strategy and client service.
• Tech Stack: SQL, SSRS, Python, PowerBI, Prompt Engineering, Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, macros), Copilot, ChatGPT

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Pitches: Work with attorneys to create rate and fee quotes, and budgets for Request For Proposals or new client pitches.
• Data Analysis: Assist with data gathering and analysis for regular client reviews and presentations.
• Reporting Improvement: Collaborate with Financial Report Developers to improve department reports and increase efficiency.
• Billing Coordination: Work closely with the billing department to ensure proper set-up of new rate agreements.
• Pricing Strategy Support: Support the pricing team with budget development, benchmarking, and data analytics projects.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, with specialization in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, or similar quantitative focus; Entry-level position.
• Experience: No previous experience required; Exceptional computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, macros).
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; High attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, and the ability to manage time effectively; Strong problem-solving skills, takes initiative, and uses good judgment.
• Bonus: Technical / Scripting experience in SQL, SSRS, Python, PowerBI, or Prompt Engineering; Understanding of AI capabilities and familiarity with firm-approved AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT).
