This position within the Chief Accounting Office’s Revenue and Rebates organization is crucial for standardizing and governing global rebate accrual and payment methodologies, ensuring accuracy, control, and audit readiness as processes and tooling evolve.

• Mission: Standardizing and governing product level rebate accrual and inventory/payment methodologies through algorithmic and process enablement.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead Automation & AI Integration: Drive continued automation and AI support across Global Rebate Accounting Standard Practices (GRASP) and CAO tools, including refining algorithm logic, maintaining exception governance, and partnering with rebate analysts to enhance models.
• Ensure Control & Audit Readiness: Partner with COE and controls stakeholders to ensure process changes remain SOX relevant, documented, and auditable, aligning with audit expectations when introducing new technologies or changing operating models.
• Support System Implementation & Efficiency: Support the development and implementation of financial and operational systems reporting, driving efficiency by streamlining, standardizing, and automating processes and reporting requirements.
• Facilitate Cross-Functional Engagement: Enable organizations to leverage advances in software solutions, data analytics, and visualization techniques, developing financial models for data-driven insights and supporting Vistex/V4 readiness across the landscape.
• Provide Guidance & Standardization: Offer “advisor/sounding board” support to account teams during onboarding and stabilization, strengthening standardized decision making and guiding handling of edge cases consistent with policy and process design.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, with core domain knowledge in rebates accounting/operations, including accrual methodologies, forecasting/variance analysis, and end to end process understanding.
• Experience: 4+ years (with Bachelor’s degree) or 3+ years (with Master’s degree) of experience in rebates accounting/operations, coupled with experience driving organizational adoption through training, user enablement, and stakeholder support across global teams.
• Skills: Strong analytical and tooling capability (e.g., advanced Excel); comfort operating in structured templates and data driven models; ability to work flexible hours to collaborate effectively across multiple geographies and time zones.
• Bonus: Experience with SOX relevant process environments and audit interactions/requirements; experience with Vistex/ECC and/or V4 concepts; experience with analytics/automation tools such as Python, Power Query, VBA macros, or KNIME; strong executive communication skills to explain model logic, risks, and rationale.
