Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager | Prime Group Holdings, LLC

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Prime Group Holdings, LLC, located in Saratoga Springs, NY. Prime Group Holdings is a vertically-integrated private equity real estate firm specializing in self-storage and other alternative real estate asset classes, managing over $6.7 billion in assets. This role is crucial for leading financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic analysis to drive Net Operating Income growth and support strategic financial decision-making across the organization.

• Mission: Leads financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting, and strategic analysis for a portfolio of self-storage assets across the United States and Canada.
• Tech Stack: Oracle NetSuite, BI platforms

What You’ll Actually Do
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes across the self-storage portfolio, establishing best practices for forecasting, reporting, and financial modeling.
• Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain property-level and consolidated financial models, analyzing forecast variances and providing actionable recommendations to leadership.
• Performance Reporting: Prepare monthly executive reporting packages and board presentations, developing dashboards and automated reporting tools utilizing BI platforms.
• Strategic Partnership: Partner with operational leaders to establish financial targets and performance goals, collaborating across the Operations team to improve store-level profitability.
• Revenue & Marketing Analysis: Partner with Revenue Management to optimize pricing strategies and identify ancillary revenue opportunities, and with Marketing to evaluate lead generation effectiveness, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field, with a focus on FP&A, corporate finance, investment analysis, or real estate finance.
• Experience: 5–8+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment analysis, or real estate finance, with experience presenting financial insights to senior leadership.
• Skills: Advanced financial modeling and forecasting capabilities, along with strong Excel expertise.
• Bonus: Experience in self-storage, real estate, REIT, multifamily, hospitality, or retail portfolio environments; an MBA, CFA, or CPA designation; or experience with Oracle NetSuite.
