You will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership while maintaining the daily administrative foundation of the company.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Operations: Oversee the full cycle of accounts receivable, including client invoicing and payment reconciliation, and efficiently manage accounts payable by verifying vendor invoices and processing staff expense reimbursements.
• Tax Administration: Lead all tax administration efforts, diligently preparing local, state, and federal filings in close coordination with external accounting firms to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Human Resources Management: Coordinate comprehensive human resources functions, spanning from recruitment and new hire orientation to efficient employee exit procedures.
• Payroll & Benefits: Execute accurate weekly payroll and meticulously manage the administration of all company benefit plans, including health and retirement programs, to support employee well-being.
• Executive Reporting & Confidentiality: Provide detailed financial reporting and analysis to the executive team, while strictly maintaining confidentiality regarding legal, personnel, and other sensitive corporate data.
The Must-Haves
• Background: A Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field is required, indicating a strong foundational understanding in financial principles and business operations.
• Experience: Possess between three to five years of proven experience effectively managing combined accounting and human resources duties within a professional setting.
• Skills: Demonstrate advanced proficiency in professional accounting platforms such as QuickBooks or SAP; a comprehensive understanding of current tax laws, payroll systems, and labor compliance regulations; and exceptional organizational skills coupled with the ability to work independently with high levels of autonomy.
• Bonus: Professional certifications like a CPA, SHRM, or PHR are highly preferred; experience working within small to mid-sized corporate environments is a plus; and familiarity with HRIS platforms and modern personnel management software is beneficial.
