Financial Analyst I – Treasury | Everus

This Financial Analyst I – Treasury position is focused on supporting daily treasury operations, including essential functions like cash positioning, bank reconciliations, and transaction monitoring. What You’ll Actually Do
• Cash Management: Coordinate and administer the daily cash activity of all Everus companies, including obtaining daily bank balances and determining daily cash requirements.
• Electronic Payment Oversight: Monitor all electronic payments made via secure, internet-based bank systems, providing administrative support to all companies regarding their cash management requirements.
• Short-Term Financing: Manage Everus and its operating companies’ short-term daily borrowings based on required cash needs, including the repayment thereof, and oversee the short-term investment of excess funds under the direction of the department manager.
• Borrowing Program Support: Assist with the coordination and administration of Everus’ broader borrowing programs, maintaining appropriate spreadsheets detailing total borrowings by segment and reconciling all borrowing activity.
• Reporting & Presentations: Research and assemble information and supporting data in preparation for departmental presentations, work projects, and various reports.
• Fraud Prevention & Compliance: Implement and perform crucial control functions designed to prevent banking fraud and ensure robust support for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
• System Administration: Assist with the administration of internet-based bank systems and the treasury management system, including performing periodic reviews of users to verify access to these critical systems.
The Must-Haves
• Background: A four-year degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field is required, providing a foundational working knowledge of accounting fundamentals and principles essential for an Analyst I role.
• Experience: Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, along with experience using financial reporting tools. The role requires the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Skills: Possess strong analytical and organizational skills, including the ability to meticulously analyze financial data and identify trends and variances with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly for preparing investor-facing materials, and maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
