Financial Analyst II | ICE

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Intercontinental Exchange, located in Atlanta, GA. Intercontinental Exchange is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its corporate finance team. This position plays a critical role in providing essential financial insights, measuring company progress, and supporting crucial financial processes like budgeting and forecasting. Your contributions will directly inform senior management decisions, including those of the corporate Senior Finance Director, CFO, and President.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Forecast Management: Lead the monthly financial forecast process for key business units or core departments.
• Impact Analysis: Develop key growth drivers and facilitate deeper understanding of their impacts to revenue and expenses.
• Strategic Support: Conduct financial analysis of potential new products, pricing strategies, and strategic opportunities.
• Performance Reporting: Create and analyze key performance indicators for management, and create and maintain management reporting packages.
• Budget & Presentations: Support the annual budget process and prepare the annual Board presentation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or a closely related discipline. This role is for individuals early in their career.
• Experience: 0-3+ years’ experience in financial analysis.
• Skills: Must possess strong analytical and financial analysis skills; must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be detail-oriented, well-organized, and self-motivated.
• Bonus: Strong technical aptitude and understanding is preferred; advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of Oracle Hyperion products is preferred; experience with Python and data visualization tools preferred; experience with financial markets, exchange and/or trading industry preferred.
