The Tone:
This is an early career at Fortress Information Security, located in Remote, Orlando FL. Fortress Information Security builds cybersecurity and supply chain risk management services. This rotational early-career role is designed to develop the next generation of cybersecurity and supply chain risk management professionals. Associates gain hands-on exposure to critical business areas, contributing directly to core service delivery while building a broad, cross-functional skillset. • Tech Stack: MS Office, Google products (e.g., Word, Excel, Gmail), AI-powered tools and platforms (e.g., generative AI assistants, AI-based monitoring or security tools)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Rotate: Rotate through four business areas, each on a quarterly basis, meeting the specific deliverables and quality standards of each Rotation Lead’s team.
• Deliver: Consistently deliver on assigned workload, commitments, deadlines, and objectives while following established service level agreements.
• Curate: Curate and organize company-specific information from public, private, and proprietary sources through data collection, analysis, evaluation, and risk-scoring.
• Collaborate: Collaborate with internal partners and third parties to enhance, mitigate, and resolve third-party risks.
• Support: Support Validated Controls Assessment (VCA), AI Monitoring, data integrity QA, and program management activities depending on the current rotation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelors Degree or equivalent professional work experience required. This is an early-career role focused on cybersecurity and supply chain risk management.
• Experience: Experience in, or aptitude for, a customer/client-facing environment. Proven working experience or strong academic/internship exposure to cybersecurity control reviews, operational risk management, information security, security research, or third-party/vendor risk management.
• Skills: Ability to quickly learn new tools, teams, and workflows, and to adapt professionally to a new business area every quarter; solid understanding of risk management concepts (information security, IT general controls, and basic audit terminology); comfort learning and using AI-powered tools and platforms; demonstrated professional communication and client relationship skills; attention to detail, sound judgement, logical thinking, and proven ability to follow established scripts to drive tasks to completion and meet deadlines.
