This Staff Accountant role is crucial for transforming the company’s Accounting and Finance functions by driving process efficiency, automating manual tasks, and improving delivery speed. What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage: Oversee the accounting functions specific to your assigned products.
• Execute: Perform month-end close tasks and prepare comprehensive financial statement analysis.
• Reconcile: Prepare bank and general ledger account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
• Analyze: Review and analyze general ledger transactions and accounts, applying technical judgment for proper financial recording.
• Optimize: Update accounting processes and procedures, making best use of automation tools.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
• Experience: 0-2 years of professional accounting experience.
• Skills: Proficient in Excel, strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks, capability to take initiative, work independently, and focus on process improvement, excellent communication skills.
• Bonus: CPA, experience with Workday Finance, financial services industry experience.
