What You’ll Actually Do
• Support Reporting: Work with financial data to support client deliverables and reporting across various business segments.
• Evaluate Proposals: Review insurance renewals and evaluate new business proposals to assist clients in making informed benefit decisions.
• Analyze Plan Performance: Prepare market reviews, funding projections, and claims utilization analyses to evaluate plan performance.
• Understand Plan Structure: Review insurance contracts and funding arrangements to understand plan structure and identify key cost drivers.
• Identify Opportunities: Help identify cost-saving opportunities using analytical tools and resources, and support negotiations related to premium rates and benefit plan features.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree earned within the past two years, with an interest in employee benefits, financial analysis, and benefit strategy.
• Experience: Comfortable working with data in Excel, including building tables and analyzing information.
• Skills: Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, capability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines, keen attention to detail to produce accurate work, and clear communication skills for effective collaboration.
