What You’ll Actually Do
• Reconcile financial accounts: Prepare or review ledger account reconciliations, including bank accounts, prepaid assets, liabilities, and credit cards.
• Ensure accurate coding: Monitor financial coding to maintain precision across all transactions.
• Maintain internal controls: Adhere to internal financial controls such as sales journal verifications, bank, general ledger, and subsidiary ledger account reconciliations.
• Generate financial reports: Prepare and/or review general ledger entries and present comprehensive financial reports on a monthly basis.
• Collaborate on projects: Assist with various team activities, communicating effectively with other team members and property-level associates.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Formal training in accounting is required, with an Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or business preferred.
• Experience: No specific years of experience are listed; however, prior hotel accounting experience is considered a plus.
• Skills: Ledger account reconciliation, general ledger entry preparation, financial report presentation, accurate coding, and adherence to internal financial controls.
• Bonus: Prior hotel accounting experience.
