What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting: Prepare journal entries and gather financial data to generate financial statements for month-end close, producing supporting schedules according to the monthly close schedule.
• Payroll & Benefits: Perform entries and postings to the payroll and benefit accounts.
• Reconciliations: Reconcile all organizational credit card statements, research discrepancies, and make necessary adjustments, while also handling third-party reconciliations with supporting documentation for reimbursements.
• Audit Support: Provide backup documentation for the annual audit process.
• Departmental Support: Handle requests from other departments regarding outgoing funds and work on assigned special projects and other tasks.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 2 years of accounting experience.
• Skills: Strong proficiency with Excel, along with analytical and organizational skills.
