Treasury Analyst | Unum

• Mission: Facilitates daily treasury operations, provides accurate cash reporting, and assists with some risk management activities.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Facilitate: Facilitate daily treasury operations and assist with some risk management activities.
• Prepare: Prepare, verify, reconcile, and balance accounts related to the specific financial area to maintain control and accuracy.
• Analyze: Prepare complex financial analysis for designated areas and routine reports, offering recommendations regarding processes and results.
• Maintain: Maintain various systems and data assets that support the financial areas, assuming ownership of related data.
• Ensure: Provide information in connection with external and internal audits and monitor Treasury activities to ensure compliance.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience at Unum that prepares and qualifies the individual for the specific work to be performed.
• Experience: Zero to three years of comparable experience, preferably corporate treasury or banking experience.
• Skills: Basic understanding of the components of multiple financial statements, ability to prioritize work while managing multiple projects, strong communication skills, basic to intermediate EXCEL skills, and proficiency in Word and PowerPoint.
• Bonus: CTP designation preferred, experience with General ledger systems and reporting tools, Workday (General Ledger software), and Blackline (reconciliation software) preferred.
