Sales Trainee | Red Bull Distribution Company

The Tone:
This is an early career training role at Red Bull Distribution Company. The company builds and maintains a robust distribution network for its energy drinks, ensuring product availability and strong brand presence in all large and small format “off premise” stores. This role is crucial for supporting daily sales operations, providing essential route coverage, and developing future Account Sales Managers who will drive the company’s market growth. The position offers a structured program designed to transition successful trainees into full Account Sales Manager roles.

The TL;DR

• Team: Collaborates with management, Account Sales Managers (ASMs), District Sales Managers (DSMs), merchandising, and operations teams.
• Mission: Support Red Bull sales initiatives, provide essential route coverage, and prepare for the Account Sales Manager role.

What You’ll Actually Do
• TRAINING: Participate in a structured training program to prepare for the Account Sales Manager role and achieve certification.
• BUSINESS ACUMEN: Understand the Red Bull brand and products, protect brand integrity through proper rotation, and maintain professional customer relationships to drive sales.
• DAILY PREPARATION: Gather necessary sales tools and insights, then effectively communicate daily priorities with ASMs and DSMs.
• IN ROUTE SUPPORT: Cover ASM routes as needed, meeting daily KPIs focused on sales, distribution, pricing, display, new accounts, and merchandising.
• OFF ROUTE SUPPORT: Assist the team with audits, blitzes, display building, and merchandising to effectively drive the sales business.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level, with a foundational interest in sales, distribution, and customer relationship management.
• Skills: Valid US Driver’s License, ability to obtain a DOT Medical card, must be at least 21 years of age, capacity to lift and transport up to 25 pounds of inventory and/or advertising displays, English language proficiency.
• Bonus: Prior experience in customer service and sales, proficiency in additional languages.
