Facilities Lead – Singapore | Millennium

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Millennium, located in Singapore. Millennium is a global, diversified alternative investment firm dedicated to delivering results for investors through evolution, innovation, and focus. This role is pivotal in ensuring a resilient, well-run physical workplace, directly supporting business-critical operations within the firm’s Singapore office. As the senior facilities role on the ground, you will be the owner of the physical environment, contributing significantly to the overall workplace experience.

• Team: Tight-knit Singapore office team, partnering closely with other business units for operations; works side-by-side with the Office Manager and collaborates with regional peers; it is the senior facilities role on the ground.
• Mission: Own and run day-to-day facilities operations end-to-end for the Singapore office, ensuring a resilient and well-run physical workplace.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead Operations: Lead day-to-day facilities operations for the Singapore office, ensuring a resilient, well-run workplace in partnership with the Office Manager.
• Manage Maintenance: Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for building services and critical systems, coordinating critical works with the landlord and vendors.
• Respond to Incidents: Act as first responder for facilities incidents in business-critical areas, coordinating triage, escalation, and timely service restoration while keeping stakeholders informed.
• Manage Vendors & Contracts: Own vendor and contract management end-to-end, including sourcing, negotiation, performance monitoring, renewals, and on-site supervision of contractors.
• Oversee Budget & Compliance: Manage the facilities operating budget, including planning and tracking expenditure, and conduct regular inspections to ensure regulatory and fire safety compliance.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Diploma/Degree in Facility Management, Building Services, Building Management, Engineering, or a related discipline, with core domain knowledge in corporate facilities management.
• Experience: 8–10 years’ relevant corporate facilities management experience, ideally in financial services, trading, or other 24×7 business-critical environments; proven experience in contractor supervision and end-to-end vendor/contract management, including budgeting and contract negotiation.
• Skills: Strong working knowledge of MEP systems (ACMV, UPS, electrical, fire protection, security/access control, BMS) and hands-on facilities maintenance in Singapore; practical understanding of local regulatory and fire safety requirements; able to interpret building services drawings and maintenance documentation; clear, credible communication with a strong service mindset.
• Bonus: Working knowledge of Tableau or CAFM/CMMS.
