The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Motorola Solutions, located in the Central or Eastern United States. This role is critical as it involves leading projects focused on internal processes and IT systems, which are essential for the growth and success of the Envysion business unit and its mission to deliver new services swiftly to customers.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead significant cross-functional initiatives and deliver value to the organization from both a strategic and tactical perspective.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams focused on delivering new product development initiatives to customers.
• Manage a portfolio of projects from inception to completion, including tracking and evaluation of project performance to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.
• Lead project toll gates and status meetings, effectively communicating project status across all levels.
• Foster strong relationships across internal teams including Product, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Sales, Customer Success, and Solution Engineering.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, Business Management, Project Management, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience: 10+ years previous experience as a Portfolio/Project Manager, with a track record of successful project delivery, and experience leading projects to implement internal enterprise IT systems such as Salesforce, Oracle, Sage, JIRA, and custom software solutions.
• Skills: Positive team leadership, ability to lead simultaneous initiatives, high attention to detail, quick learning, process modeling, and process improvement initiatives.
• Bonus: Project management related certifications, a general understanding of hardware and video security solutions, knowledge of retail industry related applications (CCTV, LP, data integration techniques, web technology), and experience working on international projects.
