This is a seasonal role at Rivian, located in Atlanta, GA. As an Adventure Readiness Specialist, you will be a critical part of the Rivian Service team during peak seasonal periods, providing seamless care that ensures owners can focus on their adventures with their Rivians ready for the journey ahead. This role serves as an exciting entry point, offering hands-on development specifically focused on preparing you for a future as a Service Technician.

• Mission: Support the service team during high-volume periods to ensure seamless care for owners and their vehicles, while developing skills for a Service Technician career.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Vehicle Logistics: Receive, inspect, and prepare incoming vehicle inventory for delivery through washing, detailing, charging, lot organization, shuttling, and secure key management.
• Service Production Support: Assist technicians with basic vehicle repairs, focusing on Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) tasks and Express Lane work, and maintain workshop tool and equipment readiness.
• Career Development: Participate in the TRAIL program, receive mentorship, and complete Rivian Learning Network (RLN) modules to establish a dedicated pathway into a Service Technician role.
• Site Operations: Maintain a clean, safe, and highly organized service center environment by adhering to 5S principles.
• Cross-Functional Support: Provide flexible, “all-hands-on-deck” support to other business areas as needed, ensuring overall site success while prioritizing primary technical training objectives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. High School Diploma, GED, or other recognized high school equivalency credential preferred.
• Experience: Previous technical experience in automotive repair, mechanical maintenance, or electrical work, or experience in an adjacent technical industry like aviation, HVAC, or manufacturing, is highly preferred.
• Skills: A strong desire to learn, a high degree of adaptability, a passion for working with your hands, excellent communication, and teamwork skills. Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver’s license with no driving-related suspensions or revocations within a 3-5 year period.
• Bonus: Ability to work a flexible 40-hour week, which may include varied shifts, weekends, and holidays, and to perform occupational tasks requiring physical exertion such as lifting up to 50 lbs.
