Entry Level Manager Trainee | 84 Lumber

• Mission: Prepare individuals for a leadership role within 84 Lumber through hands-on training across all aspects of store operations.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office Suite, POS Systems
What You’ll Actually Do
• Sales: Support customers and drive sales within a retail store environment.
• Operations: Oversee material/supply chain flow, manage stock, and arrange merchandising.
• Estimation: Create accurate material estimates for building projects by interpreting blueprints.
• Management: Learn and manage payroll, invoicing, inventory, and perform financial analysis.
• Equipment: Obtain forklift certification and safely operate equipment for material handling.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. High school diploma or GED equivalent. Full-time availability (48+ hours/week, overtime included).
• Experience: No experience is required to begin this career at 84 Lumber.
• Skills: Microsoft Office Suite, POS systems, interpreting and analyzing financial reports, reading blueprints, resolving customer inquiries.
• Bonus: Previous experience with Microsoft Office Suite is preferred; willingness to relocate for a management position is required for promotion.
