The Tone:
This is a full-time, rotational leadership development role at Nestlé Purina North America, with initial placements in either Bloomfield, Missouri, or Davenport, Iowa. • Mission: To understand cross-functional collaboration within the supply chain, develop strategies to optimize inventory levels, and enhance the overall efficiency of supply chain processes.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Develop: Embark on a comprehensive management development program designed to fast-track your career trajectory towards leadership roles within the manufacturing business.
• Explore: Gain extensive insight into various operational areas, including quality assurance, safety, engineering, human resources, production, and R&D, understanding their collaborative role within the supply chain.
• Optimize: Develop and manage strategic initiatives focused on material life cycles, aiming to optimize inventory levels and significantly enhance the overall efficiency of the supply chain process.
• Train: Complete intensive training across essential supply chain functions such as warehousing, transportation, and customer service operations.
• Lead: Take ownership of and complete assigned department improvement projects, contributing directly to operational advancements and performance enhancement.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline, attained or expected by June 2027. This is an early-career program.
• Experience: Mandatory openness to relocation across any of Nestlé Purina’s 24 U.S. manufacturing sites throughout the rotational Management Development Associate (MDA) program.
• Skills:
• Supply Chain Fundamentals: Foundational knowledge in supply chain, logistics, or industrial engineering principles.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues, analyze data, and develop effective solutions for process optimization and improvement projects.
• Collaboration & Communication: Aptitude for building strong internal and external working relationships across various disciplines and customer teams.
• Bonus: Prior internship, co-op, practicum, or manufacturing experience preferred; involvement in student organizations and/or other leadership experience preferred.
