The Accounting Intern will gain hands-on experience in accounting and finance, learning about real-world business operations within a supportive environment. This role is crucial for assisting the experienced finance team with various accounting functions and contributing to the organization’s operational efficiency.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Account Management: Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice entry, verification, and payment processing.
• Ledger Maintenance: Help maintain general ledger entries and ensure accurate reconciliation of accounts.
• Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of financial statements, reports, and documentation for month-end and year-end close processes.
• Budgetary Support: Assist in budget tracking, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Data Management: Perform accurate and complete data entry for accounting systems and financial records.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level individual currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or a recent graduate, with a basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Experience: No specific years required.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), excellent organizational skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.
• Bonus: Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
