Intern, Product Management Innovations & Partnerships – Fall 2026 | BMW Group

The Tone:
This is a full-time internship at BMW Group, located in Mountain View, CA. BMW Group is a global leader in automotive manufacturing, known for its premium vehicles and focus on future mobility. This role is crucial for exploring new product and business opportunities at the intersection of technology and automotive, helping to drive future innovations and partnerships for the company from its Silicon Valley presence.

• Mission: Create new product and business opportunities for the BMW Group with external partners, and support key relationships.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Product Development: Create new product and business opportunities for the BMW Group by collaborating with external partners and cross-functional teams.
• Partnership Management: Support the team in maintaining close working relationships with Silicon Valley Technology Companies and other partners to achieve mutual business objectives.
• Business Innovation: Devise new business models and products in close collaboration with marketing, engineering, sales, and UX/design teams at BMW Headquarters and US entities.
• Event Support: Support the team in the preparation, facilitation, and execution of the BMW Group Tech Office Tour during CES.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program at an accredited college or university. Must have completed at least 60 college credit hours. Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. US Work Authorization is required. Fields of study include Business Administration, Economics, Business IT / Engineering, Marketing, or Data and Business Analytics.
• Experience: No specific years required beyond college credit hours. Expert knowledge of Microsoft Power Point and Excel is essential for this role.
• Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong analytical capabilities. Excellent organizational and planning skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team and foster an inclusive environment.
• Bonus: Business fluent English or German. Self-motivated and adaptable to a changing environment. Capability to drive an independent workstream within the context of a broader team project.
