Fall 2026 Human Resource Intern-Supply Chain | Kroger
The Tone:
This is a full-time, 12-week internship at Kroger, located in-person in an undisclosed location. Kroger is the nation’s largest grocer, operating nearly 2,800 stores across 35 states under 28 different names. This role offers students an immersive opportunity to grow their careers, gain hands-on learning experiences, and connect with industry leaders within Kroger’s corporate supply chain and operational departments. The intern will play a key role in supporting human resources within the supply chain by managing projects, improving processes, and providing analytical support.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Management: Manage multiple supply chain projects, ensuring adherence to established timelines.
• Communication: Communicate project status and any potential risks or issues to the appropriate teams.
• Process Improvement: Assist with the documentation of supply chain processes and best practices, and help create process improvement projects.
• Analysis: Conduct supply chain analysis and actively recommend new project opportunities.
• Presentation: Complete a cumulative project summarizing internship accomplishments and present it to the executive team or relevant managers.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Actively pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university, open to all majors.
• Experience: Work authorization in the US that does not require current or future visa sponsorship; highly motivated with strong leadership skills; ability to work independently or in groups; accuracy and attention to detail while preserving confidentiality; excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; effective time management; commitment to accountability.
• Bonus: Major in Supply Chain, Logistics, Purchasing, Transportation, Retail Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Food Science, or Operations Management; ability to analyze and interpret information for business needs; commitment to customer service; involvement in leadership and community activities; excellent interpersonal skills.
