Supply Chain Program Management Intern | Microsoft
The Tone:
This is a full-time internship at Microsoft, located in Redmond, WA or other Microsoft locations, including the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area. Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more, building solutions and cutting-edge technology. As an intern, you will play a crucial role in building support plans and designing service experiences for new products, programs, or offerings, directly impacting customer experience and identifying new opportunities within the company’s global operations.
The TL;DR

• Pay: $4700–$9490 monthly
• Mission: Build support plans and design service experiences for new products, programs, or offerings.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Plan Execution: Execute provided forward or reverse supply plans, addressing part-level gaps between demand and supply.
• Program Management: Manage programs of low complexity while receiving direct guidance.
• Scenario Analysis: Conduct analysis and gather information for “what-if” scenarios impacting supply and demand management in forward and reverse planning.
• Process Optimization: Utilize tools and processes to improve supply management and avoid additional labor needs.
• Goods Management: Rework, refurbish, and redeploy finished goods, applying mitigation solutions as applicable.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain/Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience: Must have at least one additional semester/term of school remaining following the completion of the internship.
• Skills: Supply Chain Planning, Data Analysis, Program Management, Operational Review.
