Senior Banker | Bank of America

The Tone:
This is a full-time, in-office role located in Seattle, WA. Bank of America aims to improve financial lives by delivering responsible growth for clients, teammates, communities, and shareholders. This role is crucial as the initial point of contact for financial center clients, helping to understand their personal and small business banking needs, offer suitable solutions, and connect them with specialists to build lasting relationships.

• Pay: $25.97 – $31.75 hourly, plus incentive eligibility
• Mission: This person serves as the first point of contact for clients, addressing their banking needs and supporting their financial well-being.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact for all financial center clients.
• Needs Assessment: Uncover personal banking needs for both individual and small business clients.
• Solution Offering: Offer appropriate banking solutions and connect clients to specialized partners as needed.
• Client Support: Assist, educate, and train clients on conducting simple transactions using self-service technologies, while providing exceptional client care.
• Relationship Deepening: Proactively connect with clients through outbound calls and perform consistent follow-up routines to deepen relationships.

The Must-Haves
• Background: High School Diploma or equivalent. Demonstrated sales experience for a minimum of one year in a relationship-oriented and client-centric environment.
• Experience: Minimum of one year of sales experience focused on building client relationships. Ability to successfully obtain a notary commission in the state of work within a few months of the start date. Availability to work weekends and/or extended hours, including being scheduled at any financial center location within a reasonable distance.

• Bonus: An Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, or a related field. Experience working in a financial center or a retail/sales environment where individual or team goals were consistently met or exceeded. Familiarity with banking products and services, strong computer skills including Microsoft applications, and previous experience utilizing laptop technology.
