Event Management Intern | Rancher Hat Bar

The Tone:
This is a part-time internship at Rancher Hat Bar, located in Scottsdale, AZ. Rancher Hat Bar offers a unique and immersive experience where guests create custom hats in a lively atmosphere, providing a one-of-a-kind opportunity. This role is crucial for supporting the planning and execution of all off-site events and private hat bar experiences, assisting with essential logistics and coordination. The intern’s contributions will directly ensure smooth event flow and high guest satisfaction within a fast-growing, customer-focused retail brand.

• Mission: This person will ensure the seamless planning and execution of all off-site events and private hat bar experiences.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Event Planning Support: Assist significantly with the detailed planning and execution of all off-site events and private hat bar experiences.
• Logistics Coordination: Help arrange crucial details for event set up and break down, coordinating logistics, scheduling, and communication with team members and external vendors.
• Client Communications: Manage daily client interactions, including helping respond to emails and making calls to clients to confirm arrangements and details.
• Operational Flow & Inventory: Ensure smooth event flow during experiences and manage product ordering as needed to maintain inventory levels for events.
• Performance Tracking: Assist with tracking attendance, collecting valuable guest feedback, and preparing basic event reports to support continuous improvement initiatives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Must be a current student looking for an internship for experience or credits, ideally in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience: Demonstrated interest or prior experience in event planning and event management, specifically supporting the organization, coordination, and execution of various events. Interest or experience in marketing to help promote events, support social media content, and contribute to brand awareness.
• Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with guests, team members, and external partners; a high level of organization and attention to detail; the ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks; and a clear customer service mindset with a friendly, professional, and inclusive approach to all guests.
• Bonus: Recent graduate in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field is preferred. Ability to assist with training and onboarding support for event staff or volunteers as needed.
