Inside Sales Intern | Jacobs
The Tone:
This is a temporary internship at Jacobs, with hybrid locations in Arlington, VA; Dallas, TX/Fort Worth, TX; or Denver, CO. As an Inside Sales Intern, you will be an integral part of the sales organization, supporting strategic pursuits and positioning Jacobs for success, while bringing fresh ideas as a future contributor to the company. This role is crucial for maintaining organized proposal data and identifying new opportunities within the Federal Business Unit.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Strategic Pursuit Support: Plan, lead, and support various assignments on strategic pursuits for the Federal Business Unit.
• Proposal Data Management: Manage archived proposal data and content across various SharePoint and collaboration sites.
• Opportunity Research: Search government procurement platforms to identify new opportunities for the company.
• Proposal Content Creation: Support proposal preparation by organizing information and writing content, including resumes for team staff.
• Sales Process Engagement: Engage with pursuit teams on sales process discipline, proposal development, interviews, and presentations.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field; entry-level with at least two years of collegiate courses completed.
• Experience: Must have completed at least two years of collegiate courses; must be available to start work by January 2027 or before.
• Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products; excellent written and verbal communication skills; United States Citizenship.
• Bonus: 3.0 GPA; working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite; a previous internship related to business communications, marketing, or journalism.
