The Tone:
This is a full-time, rotational leadership development role at Nestlé Purina North America, commencing at one of their manufacturing sites in Crete, Nebraska; Clinton, Iowa; or Davenport, Iowa. • Pay: $80000 yearly
• Mission: Develop future leaders who implement risk assessment processes, make safety improvement recommendations, and deliver comprehensive safety trainings to ensure associates go home safely.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Hazard Mitigation: Implement and utilize assessment and risk prediction processes to effectively identify, communicate, and mitigate workplace hazards across the factory environment.
• Safety Improvement: Make actionable recommendations for enhancing safety protocols and conditions throughout the factory.
• Training Delivery: Provide comprehensive and effective safety training, including orientation programs specifically designed for new hires and contractors.
• Committee Coordination: Organize, coordinate, and conduct specialized training sessions for the factory safety committee, fostering a proactive safety culture.
• Compliance Enforcement: Model and actively enforce compliance with both internal company policies and externally mandated safety regulations and procedures.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, or a directly related discipline, attained or expected by June 2027. This role is designed for early career professionals entering a fast-track management development program.
• Experience: Must demonstrate openness and willingness to relocate to any of Nestlé Purina’s 24 manufacturing sites across the U.S. as progression occurs through the rotational Management Development Associate program. The initial rotation for this Safety MDA role will commence at one of the factories in Crete, Nebraska; Clinton, Iowa; or Davenport, Iowa.
• Skills: Demonstrated ability to implement risk assessment processes; proficiency in making data-driven safety improvement recommendations; capability to deliver comprehensive safety trainings; strong understanding of safety compliance and enforcement; ability to serve as an effective resource for all factory employees with exceptional customer service.
• Bonus: Prior internship, co-op, practicum, or manufacturing experience is preferred. Involvement in student organizations and/or other leadership experience is also preferred.
