Employer Relations Coordinator | University of Michigan

The Tone:
This is a hybrid role at the University of Michigan, located in Ann Arbor, MI, with an expectation of three days per week on-site. The Stephen M. • Mission: Manages recruiting operations, logistics, and guidance for MBA, MAcc, MSCM, MM, MBAn, and BBA students while supporting companies at the Ross School of Business.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Company Recruiting Operations: Manage logistical and tactical support for on and off-campus recruiting activities for over 4500 Michigan Ross students across seven degree programs.
• Student Advising: Advise students on the on-campus interview process and best practices for communicating with company recruiters.
• System Expertise: Act as the resident expert on the 12Twenty recruiting and advising system for both students and recruiters, ensuring seamless platform usage.
• Event Coordination: Execute important student- and employer-facing services, including managing the logistics and implementation of multi-school interview forums and career fairs.
• Communication Management: Represent the Career Development Office (CDO) to prospective students and student organizations, and manage all student and recruiter promotional communications.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience: 1+ years of relevant experience in a professional team setting, including working with key stakeholders, coordinating events, and building or optimizing content.
• Skills: Logistical support for recruiting activities, student advising, system administration and user support, event management, and promotional communication creation.
