The Tone:
This is an accelerated, entry-level training program at Sherwin-Williams, located in Fort Wayne, IN. This program prepares individuals for a Store Management role within 18-24 months, leveraging a promote-from-within philosophy. • Mission: Prepare individuals for a Store Management role by developing skills in sales, customer service, marketing, finance, and operations to grow the company’s market share.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Complete comprehensive training consistent with the established program curriculum.
• Drive sales growth and optimize profitability by supporting established business strategies.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and positive relationship building.
• Develop extensive product knowledge to provide effective customer recommendations.
• Partner with the Store Manager to make outside sales calls and increase market share.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree; Entry-Level career stage.
• Experience: Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for an employment work visa status now or in the future; Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Skills: Customer service, Sales acumen, Operational management, Relationship building.
• Bonus: At least one year of experience in a retail, sales, or customer service position; At least one year of experience in a leadership role supervising others or leading teams; Previous experience working in a team-oriented setting; Willingness to relocate for future job opportunities; Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
