Leadership Development Program – Supply Chain | Synthomer

The Tone:
This is an early career, geographically mobile leadership development program at Synthomer, operating across the U.S. and internationally. Synthomer is a specialty chemicals manufacturer and one of the world’s foremost suppliers of water-based polymers, which help customers create innovative new products and enhance existing ones in key industries like coatings, construction, and medical gloves. This role is vital for developing future leaders who will drive change, strengthen operational capabilities, and contribute to the company’s long-term growth strategy.

• Mission: To accelerate professional development for individuals with a technical foundation, enabling them to tackle high-impact business challenges and develop into future supply chain leaders for the organization.
• Tech Stack: SAP (for production planning, inventory, customer service & logistics)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Strategic Analysis: Design data analysis and reporting to drive customer-focused business strategies.
• Network Optimization: Ensure network resiliency in the supply chain during product transfer between manufacturing sites.
• System Implementation: Implement SAP across production planning, inventory, customer service, and logistics functions.
• Inventory Management: Analyze raw materials and finished goods to determine optimal inventory levels for service targets and working capital balance.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Data Management, or a related field from an accredited university. Entry-Level.
• Experience: Minimum of one internship or CO-OP providing practical experience in strategic marketing or market development (two or more preferred).
• Skills: Demonstrated passion for strengthening operational, strategic thinking, and leadership skills; highly motivated and results-oriented; geographical mobility within the U.S. and internationally; permanent work authorization in the United States.
• Bonus: Master’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Data Management, or related field; professional certifications in supply chain management (e.g., APICS: CPIM, CSPC, CLTD, CTSC); minimum 3.2 GPA.
