Junior Product Line Manager | Adtran
The Tone:
This is a full-time, hybrid role at Adtran, located in Gdynia, Poland. Adtran is a growing company committed to innovation and building the future alongside its employees. The Junior Product Line Manager position is vital for shaping product direction and ensuring successful execution throughout the product lifecycle. This role requires a brilliant and experienced individual to gather customer and market requirements, define product vision, and collaborate extensively with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Support to meet revenue and customer satisfaction goals.

• Team: Cross-functional, collaborating extensively with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Support, and dedicated OSCILLOQUARTZ business development and engineering teams.
• Mission: To drive product planning and execution from conception to launch, ensuring customer satisfaction and revenue objectives are met by translating market needs into clear product strategies and requirements.
• Tech Stack: Knowledge of network synchronization technologies like IEEE 1588 and GPS/GNSS is an advantage.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Product Definition & Features: Define the marketing specification for new products and features, ensuring alignment with overall product vision.
• Market Requirement Gathering: Interface directly with OSCILLOQUARTZ customers and customer-facing organizations, as well as internal engineering teams, to capture essential market requirements for tactical and strategic programs.
• Strategic Documentation: Author comprehensive marketing requirements, including market studies, competitive analysis, product requirements, pricing strategies, planning documents, and go-to-market strategies.
• Internal Influence & Communication: Communicate customer needs effectively back into OSCILLOQUARTZ internal organizations to influence design and business priorities, ensuring timely solutions are delivered.
• Feature Prioritization: Coordinate with OSCILLOQUARTZ business development teams to prioritize product features across a broad range of opportunities, optimizing resource allocation.
• Standards Conformance: Research and participate in standards activities in related fields and disciplines to ensure product conformance to relevant industry standards and practices.
The Must-Haves
• Background: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science or a related engineering field, demonstrating a foundational understanding of technical concepts relevant to product development and management.
• Experience: Proven experience in software and hardware development, providing insight into the product creation process.
• Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, strong presentation abilities to simplify complex technology, motivate sales forces, and build customer confidence. Possesses strong self-learning and organizational skills, coupled with a can-do attitude and creative problem-solving approach.
• Bonus: An MBA is preferred. Knowledge of network synchronization and related technologies (e.g., IEEE 1588, GPS/GNSS), along with experience in sales or sales support, are distinct advantages. Proficiency in additional languages is also a plus.
