The TL;DR
• Role: Internship / Volunteer
• Location: In-person, Oklahoma City area, United States

• Team: Network Operations Center (NOC) support staff, working alongside senior technicians and engineers.
• Mission: To monitor and manage client networks and systems, identify and remediate problems, and provide direct support for end-user environments.
• Tech Stack: Remote management and monitoring tools and technologies, workflow tools.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Support: Provide timely and professional responses to client emails and phone calls.
• Incident Management: Identify, remediate, and document issues and outages in accordance with operational runbooks.
• Problem Escalation: Escalate service interruptions and outages as per established agreements, obligations, and procedures.
• Communication: Provide ongoing status updates for outstanding issues and ensure remediation is tracked to completion and customer satisfaction.
• System Operations: Perform routine event and alarm monitoring, execute start-of-day and end-of-day tasks, and carry out basic operational/administrative tasks on key systems.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level position requiring a High school diploma and an interest in the Information Technology field.
• Experience: No specific prior work experience is required, but a commitment to achieve at least one qualifying industry IT certification (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) within the 90-day internship timeframe is essential.
• Skills: Demonstrated commitment to integrity and professionalism, ability to show leadership and ownership regardless of tenure, intelligence, capability, creativity in problem-solving, and a strong desire for continuous learning and improvement.
