Seasonal Internship | Group CBS
The Tone:
This is a full-time internship at Group CBS, located in Lakeland, FL. Group CBS, specifically Circuit Breaker Sales, LLC, operates as a leading service shop within the electrical industry, specializing in circuit breaker sales and power distribution equipment. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient workflows and ensuring the accurate and quality processing of customer order shipments. The intern will gain practical experience in an industrial warehouse environment, contributing directly to fulfillment processes within a niche market.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Shipment Inspection: Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality to meet company standards.
• Material Handling: Safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, in compliance with all safety regulations.
• Production Support: Provide assistance in processing equipment to ensure quality meets customer expectations.
• Warehouse Management: Maintain an organized and clean warehouse space to promote a safe and productive working environment.
• Outgoing Shipments: Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling, packaging, and coordinating with carriers for timely delivery.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. High school diploma or equivalent required. Core domain knowledge in industrial warehouse operations within the electrical industry is beneficial.
• Experience: 2 to 5 years of warehouse experience preferred; experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks; valid driver’s license required; demonstrated ability to lift up to 150 pounds frequently and up to 10 pounds continuously.
• Skills: Strong computer proficiency; ability to multi-task effectively while maintaining accuracy and quality standards; strong attention to detail in order fulfillment documentation; problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve operational issues; good verbal and written communication skills.
• Bonus: Applicable electrical industry experience.
