• Mission: Analyze fleet data and maintenance budgets to ensure efficient vehicle management and identify cost savings.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Analysis: Generate and distribute daily spend and month-to-date figures to the President, Director Operations Support, and other key stakeholders.
• Budget Management: Analyze monthly maintenance spend to identify anomalies and savings opportunities, and submit required financial reports to accounting.
• Cost Reduction: Review incoming estimates for mechanical expenses to reduce costs, leverage used parts, and challenge vendor claims, while also building relationships with vendors.
• Vehicle Tracking: Maintain accurate vehicle records and updates within fleet management systems, including Chevin Fleet Wave.
• Strategic Support: Assist the Fleet Director in overseeing the entire fleet, including managing the employment and retirement of vehicles in the field.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. High school diploma/equivalent is minimally required, with core domain knowledge in automotive repair or collision.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience with automotive repair/collision.
• Skills: Proficiency with computers and computer software, with a preference for Microsoft Office proficiency; ability to physically work in and around vehicles.
