• Mission: Support the Senior Business Analyst in gathering, documenting, and communicating business needs for internal projects and system improvements.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Requirement Documentation: Create and maintain business requirements, process documentation, meeting notes, and other project materials, including business process workflows.
• Stakeholder Communication: Attend project meetings to document key decisions, questions, and action items, and work with developers to clarify requirements and answer business-related questions.
• Requirements Elicitation: Participate in user interviews and requirements-gathering sessions to help identify gaps, unclear processes, and opportunities for improvement.
• Solution Definition & Validation: Assist in translating business needs into clear requirements or development tickets and support testing to confirm work meets documented requirements.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Operations, or a related field. This is an entry-level intern position.
• Experience: No specific years of experience required.
• Skills: Possess strong written and verbal communication abilities, critical for articulating complex information to diverse audiences. Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, ensuring comfortable and efficient management of documentation and meeting notes. Exhibit the capacity to ask thoughtful, probing questions and effectively communicate with both business-focused and technical teams, bridging potential gaps. Maintain strong attention to detail and show a proactive willingness to learn and adapt within the role.
• Bonus: Familiarity with process mapping, requirements gathering, or software development is helpful.
