Accounts Receivable Analyst | Snap Inc.
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Snap Inc., primarily office-based across various assigned US pay zones. Snap Inc. is a technology company dedicated to improving how people live and communicate through products like Snapchat and Specs Inc. This role is crucial for maintaining the company’s financial health by ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, efficient cash application, and robust reconciliation processes. The Accounts Receivable Analyst will play a key part in supporting the finance team’s mission to provide insights, information, and guidance for strategic decisions and reporting obligations.

• Team: Finance Team, supporting AR Leads and collaborating across Finance Operations, Accounting, and Business Solutions.
• Mission: Ensure timely, correct, and accurate invoicing and cash application to support Snap’s financial health and scaling products.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Invoicing Management: Focus on ensuring Snapchat’s invoicing efforts are carried out timely, correctly, and accurately.
• Process Enhancement: Collaborate with Business Solutions, Operations, and Accounting teams to create efficiencies and improve billing and collections processes.
• Financial Operations: Perform daily cash application, monthly billing reconciliations, and assist the accounting team with month-end reconciliations for AR accounts.
• Problem Resolution: Investigate, document, and work on global billing resolutions, supporting AR Leads and Collections Analysts in resolving campaign and invoicing queries.
• Compliance & Audit: Identify risks, implement controls, maintain proper process documentation and evidence in accordance with SOX, and provide support for annual financial statement and internal audits.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience in a relevant field, with core domain knowledge in Accounts Receivable.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in an Accounts Receivable function, ideally within the advertising or media/entertainment industry.
• Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, strong Excel proficiency, and a detail-oriented, proactive approach.
• Bonus: International Accounts Receivable experience.
