Client Accounting Coordinator | Gersh

This role is crucial for maintaining client trust by ensuring accurate and timely management of their financial accounts, supporting the agency’s commitment to a client-first approach and driving success.

• Mission: To manage and maintain client Trust accounts and ensure accurate and timely payments, facilitating the client payment process.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Invoice Tracking: Track clients’ invoices for hours, overtime, and reimbursement, then send them to production.
• Payment Setup: Set up payment portals for accounts receiving and onboard clients for payroll.
• Payment Management: Manage payment collection and tracking for an assigned client group.
• Client Communication: Provide regular check-ins with agents and clients to share payment status and address any outstanding issues.
• Reporting: Process ad hoc reporting requests for clients and agents as needed, and print weekly reports of outstanding payments for follow-up.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree is required, with an emphasis in business administration, finance, accounting, or economics preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of professional accounting experience, including prior experience providing exceptional customer service in a professional setting, and familiarity with payroll processes.
• Skills: Must be process-oriented, detail-oriented, highly organized, possess strong analytical and math skills, and communicate well via email and phone. High proficiency in Excel and Outlook is also required.
• Bonus: Prior experience as a Digital Accountant, Trust Coordinator, or Accounting Assistant/Clerk at a talent agency, and knowledge of Digital Client Accounting payroll (for creators, influencers, celebrities, athletes, and personalities) are highly preferred.
