What You’ll Actually Do
• Test: Perform detailed testing of various financial transactions, including cash receipts and cash disbursements.
• Review: Conduct thorough examinations of payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable transactions for accuracy.
• Prepare: Assist directly in the preparation of comprehensive financial statements for clients.
• Support: Aid in developing and compiling essential financial schedules for client engagements.
• Learn: Gain valuable, real-world exposure to a wide array of audit work areas within the governmental and non-profit sectors.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Currently a Sophomore or Junior pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting, or a degree with sufficient coursework to qualify for CPA licensure.
• Experience: No specific prior work experience required, but must possess proficiency with Microsoft applications and have reliable transportation for client site visits.
• Skills: Demonstrated strong written communication skills, effective verbal communication abilities, a strong dedication to teamwork, and unwavering integrity within a professional environment.
