Manager In Training – Helena, MT | Touchmark

The Tone:
This is a full-time Management Development program at Touchmark, located in Helena, MT. Touchmark builds and manages premier senior living communities, embodying the ETHIC principles—Excellence, Teamwork, Hospitality, Integrity, and Compassion—to continually enrich the daily lives of residents. These values are practiced in every task and interaction, from personal caregiver assistance to maintaining the grounds. This role is crucial for cultivating future leaders who will steadfastly characterize this mission, preparing them to manage community operations and lead by example upon completion of an 18-month to two-year training period.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Engage with Leaders: Work and learn daily alongside experienced leaders within premier senior living communities.
• Embody Values: Learn and practice what it means to “Be an Ally, A Friend, and A Giver,” integrating these principles into daily tasks and interactions.
• Acquire Operational Knowledge: Gain comprehensive understanding of Touchmark’s operations by rotating through each functional department of the community.
• Develop Leadership Skills: Hone strong leadership skills through an 18-month to two-year Management Training program, preparing to lead according to Touchmark’s values.
• Practice Public Speaking: Develop and deliver oral presentations effectively to both small and large groups within the community setting.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level role requiring a Bachelor’s degree. Ideal candidates have focused their education on Healthcare Administration, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or other related fields.
• Experience: Demonstrated natural leadership qualities throughout life, evidenced by leadership positions at work, school/athletics, project leadership, or early career work; willing to work occasional weekends and evenings as necessary to support community operations.
• Skills: Possesses the ability to relocate to any Touchmark location following the program’s completion; comfortable and proficient in giving oral presentations to diverse groups; consistently demonstrates empathy toward others in all interactions.
• Bonus: A strong desire to work within the hospitality or service industry, particularly with seniors, is considered a significant advantage.
