Full Stack Development Intern | MeeBoss

The Tone:
This is an internship at MeeBoss, located remotely (U.S. preferred, open globally). MeeBoss is an early MVP / Pre-Seed startup building the Trust Infrastructure of the Future — a professional credibility platform called Voushify. It helps individuals build verified reputations through structured vouches, recommendation repositories, and a proprietary VoushScore credibility algorithm. This role is critical for creating Proof of Human Trust through verified professional endorsements in a world of AI-generated resumes and fake profiles, helping to build the foundational architecture of the platform.

• Team: Will work directly with the founder.
• Mission: To help design, build, and iterate on the core Voushify platform, shaping its product architecture, database structure, scoring logic, and user interface experience.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Front-End Development: Build responsive user interfaces for key components like user profile pages, vouch submission forms, and the VouchFeed, ensuring mobile responsiveness and implementing pixel-accurate layouts from design mockups.
• Back-End Development: Design and implement database schemas for users and various vouch formats, create API endpoints for vouch creation/retrieval, profile rendering, and score calculation logic, and implement authentication and role-based permissions.
• VoushScore Logic: Help design and implement the core VoushScore logic, including weighted scoring models, relationship strength indicators, confidence score mechanisms, and fraud prevention flags, while structuring the algorithm for future AI integration.
• Infrastructure & Deployment: Assist with essential platform infrastructure, such as email integration for verification and transactional emails, cloud hosting setup (AWS, GCP, or Vercel), database setup (Postgres, Firebase), and basic CI/CD workflows.
• Product Contribution: Influence product architecture, database structure, scoring logic, and user interface experience, gaining real startup exposure across product development and early-stage scaling decisions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Strong understanding of full stack development fundamentals.
• Experience: Experience with at least one modern full stack (e.g., MERN, Next.js, Django + React) and database modeling.
• Skills: Knowledge of REST APIs, basic understanding of authentication & security principles.
• Bonus: Experience building SaaS or startup products, familiarity with scoring algorithms or ranking systems, understanding of UI/UX fundamentals, and a mindset comfortable with ambiguity.
